"The Real Change is Coming! Nagsimula ng Bumaba Ang Presyo ng Bigas Dahil sa SRP Program ng Gobyerno"

Despite the hardships caused by inflation among Filipino citizens, the government is not neglecting the situation and continues to find various solutions to ease the continuing increase of basic commodities such as rice, petroleum , etc.

There is no need for consumers to complain because the price of the rice already been lowered. In a post by Jo Soliman, Manny Pinol said that the price of rice in the market started to go down.

Not only that, they implemented a standard placement of  rice descriptions to avoid confusion among consumers. Changes in each retail outlet of rice are expected in the Greater Manila Area and across Metro Manila.

Along with Sec Pinol's post are photos from local retail outlets in the Commonwealth Market where the separate and clear description of what imported, local, and special rice can be seen.

Good news because the price of NFA now falls to 27 pesos, well milled imported rice is 38 pesos and local rice is only 47 pesos.

In the meantime, the recent price of rice which is 65 pesos is now lowered to 43 pesos per kilo. The SRP's program is enormously implemented by the government to prevent the opportunist businessmen in the rice industry.

The government is now closely monitoring this issue. One of the reasons for lowering the price of rice is the overwhelming capture of profiteers or hoarders who store thousands of barrels of rice in warehouses.

The government captured two big crocodiles, who are taking advantage of the ordinary consumers. The netizens are delighted with the report, which has been more centralized and it's already proven that the prices of rice are going down in many places.

Many are hoping that the program will be implemented nationwide.

“Change has started! LOWER PRICES, ORDERLY STALLS IN RICE OUTLETS STARTING TODAY.

There will be a dramatic change in the set up of rice retail outlets in Metro Manila and Greater Manila Area today.

These two photos taken in a retail outlet in Commonwealth Market yesterday show clear identification of imported rice, local rice and special rice.

What makes these photos more amazing are the very low prices of rice from P27 for NFA rice to P38 of well-milled imported rice and P47 for premium local rice.

Many stalls in Metro Manila until a few days ago displayed rice sold for as high as P65 per kilo which is now sold at only P43 per kilo.

The SRP Program will be launched in simple ceremonies in the Commonwealth Market in Quezon City today.”
